Hello from Germany
Hello GalantFans,
I am DeepBlueGalant (or Max) from Germany and I own two Galants. Hope English is okay for you because I don't speak Dutch.
1.) A 1983 Galant A160 GLX Station Wagon imported in late 2015 from the Netherlands. It has a milage of 244.000KM and a 4G63 petrol engine with 103ps. I am trying to find parts for this car (especially doors) but it is really hard.
The car runs good but there is a lot of rust that I have to fight against. 2.) A 1998 Galant EA0 V6 sedan that I bought in 2013 in Germany. It has a milage of 176.000KM and a 6A13 V6 petrol engine with 163ps. Maybe someone can help me to find doors for my old station wagon?
cheers
DeepBlueGalant

Hello, welcome!
You don't need to talk on the forum, writing is better .
A 4G Galant is hard to find, the worse for doors.

Re: Hello from Germany
You are right, writing is better . 4G (A160) Galants are hard to find, right. But finding station wagons is nearly impossible. The problem is that 4G sedan doors don't fit to the 4G station wagon.
I can also use 3G/A120 station wagon doors or 3G sedan front doors.
Thank you so far.

Re: Hello from Germany
@Uray25
You mean which doors cannot be rescued? The worst doors are Front Right and Rear Left. But to be honest all doors are not good. Only the trunk door is good.
We tried to fix the rear left door but the result is not good. The welding was done by a mechanic, but it is bad. The metal does not follow the structure of the door. That means you would need a lot of filler.
The silver sedan has a fair price (If the condition is good). It is a GLS wich means it has a single-wheel suspention (In contrast to all other models).

Re: Hello from Germany
Welcome! Very nice cars!
And obviously it's no problem to type in English here. Most of us are pretty decent in English typing/writing and reading.

Re: Hello from Germany
A little update. I got a new drivers door this year from Switzerland. Just need the other doors . If anyone knows where to find, please tell me. I can use doors from the 3G/A120, too. I know there are still a few 3G owners in NL. Nobody with a really good door for sale?
